Seamless Panel/Module View

One of DLS's great new features is the blending of all options on the system into one file. This means that all options pertaining to an area of programming can be grouped together logically. No more browsing through separate module files to find related options. No more bouncing around inside a panel file to program related options. It's now all in one place.

Notice the Seamless Panel/Module View in these sections:

Zones - All these options grouped together:

  • Zone Definition
  • Zone Label
  • Wireless Zone Serial Number

Users - All these options grouped together

  • User Code
  • User Label
  • Opening/closing Reporting Code for that User

Common Sections

The workfile is typically organized into the following sections:

The Users section is where the various programming regarding the user codes and access cards is located. This section will include the user codes, any user attributes, as well as any reporting codes associated with those users.
